WeShipYou Commission Schedule

This Commission Schedule (“Schedule”) is part of the Seller Terms and describes the fees WeShipYou charges sellers for transactions on the marketplace. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Seller Terms.
1. Marketplace Commission
WeShipYou charges a commission on the gross line amount (the price paid by the buyer, inclusive of any VAT or sales tax embedded in the listing price, but excluding shipping charges billed separately to the buyer) of each successfully fulfilled order line.
2. Default Rate
The default marketplace commission rate is 6 % of the gross line amount per order line. This rate applies unless a different per-storefront rate has been agreed in writing or configured in your storefront settings.
WeShipYou may adjust the default rate with at least thirty (30) days’ prior notice delivered via the seller dashboard, email, or both.
3. Per-Storefront Overrides
WeShipYou may negotiate a custom commission rate for high-volume storefronts, exclusive partnerships, or promotional programs. When a custom rate has been agreed, it is displayed in your storefront’s payout settings and supersedes the default rate for all new orders.
Custom rates may be time-limited. Unless otherwise stated, a custom rate remains effective until changed by mutual written agreement or thirty (30) days after WeShipYou provides written notice of a rate change.
4. Fulfillment Fees (WeShipYou Warehouse)
For products fulfilled from a WeShipYou warehouse (“WeShipYou Warehouse” listings), a per-unit fulfillment fee applies in addition to the marketplace commission. This fee covers pick, pack, labeling, and consumables (poly mailer, dunnage, tape) performed by WeShipYou. It does not include shipping — carrier costs are charged separately on the shipment line.
The fulfillment fee is determined by the product’s weight and the destination country of the order. Fees are resolved automatically when a listing is created or updated and are deducted from your payout alongside the marketplace commission.

The fulfillment fee covers only warehouse-side per-unit operational cost. Carrier shipping charges scale with weight separately and are reflected on the shipment line of your payout statement.
Products with unusual dimensions (e.g. oversize packaging, high girth) may be assigned to a special tier with a higher fee. If no tier matches your product’s weight or dimensions, it may be ineligible for WeShipYou Warehouse fulfillment until a suitable tier is configured.
WeShipYou may add country-specific tiers at any time. When a new country tier is introduced, listings shipping to that destination are automatically re-resolved against the new tier on the next listing update or order placement.
5. Warehouse Storage Fees
Items held in a WeShipYou warehouse (whether as forwarding-order inventory awaiting shipment or as marketplace stock awaiting sale) are subject to storage fees after a 30-day free grace period counted from the date the item is marked as arrived at the warehouse.
5.1. Grace Period
The first 30 calendar days after an item arrives at the warehouse are free of storage charges. No daily fee accrues during this window regardless of the item’s weight or size.
5.2. Standard Storage Rate (Day 31 – 60)
Beginning on day 31, a daily storage fee of $0.05 per pound per day is charged for each item still held in the warehouse. The fee is calculated based on the item’s recorded weight (in pounds) at the time of warehouse arrival.
5.3. Long-Term Storage Rate (Day 61+)
Beginning on day 61, the daily storage rate increases to $0.13 per pound per day. This elevated rate remains in effect for as long as the item is held in the warehouse.
5.4. Settlement
Storage fees are debited from your account balance daily. Your balance is permitted to go negative to cover storage charges; any negative balance is recovered from future credits (incoming payouts, refunds, or top-ups) or invoiced separately.
5.5. Abandoned Inventory
After one year (365 days) of continuous storage, if an item has not been shipped or retrieved, WeShipYou reserves the right to dispose of, donate, or liquidate the item to recover outstanding storage fees. You will be notified at least 30 days before disposal action is taken.
5.6. Exemptions
Items with an active shipment label (in statuses such as “label created” or “in transit”) are exempt from storage fees. Items marked by an administrator as “do not charge storage” are also exempt.
6. When Fees Are Charged
The marketplace commission and any applicable fulfillment fee are calculated at order placement and are deducted from the gross amount before your net earnings are credited to your seller balance. The rate persisted on each order line is the rate effective at the time the order was placed.
If an order is fully refunded or cancelled before shipment, no commission or fulfillment fee is charged for that line.
7. Chargebacks and Adjustments
If a buyer initiates a chargeback or dispute that results in a reversal, WeShipYou may debit your seller balance for the full chargeback amount plus any chargeback fee imposed by the payment processor. The marketplace commission originally deducted is not refunded in this scenario because the chargeback unwinds the entire payment.
Partial refunds reduce your net earnings proportionally; the commission is recalculated on the adjusted gross amount and any excess commission is credited back to your balance.
8. Taxes on Fees
All fee rates stated above are exclusive of any indirect taxes (e.g. VAT, GST, sales tax) that may be applicable to the services WeShipYou provides to you. Where required by law, applicable taxes will be added to the fee amount and shown separately on your invoice or payout statement.
9. Changes to This Schedule
WeShipYou may update this Schedule at any time. Changes to fees or rates take effect no sooner than thirty (30) days after notice (except where required by law or for security reasons). Continued use of the marketplace after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
